Papal Nuncio to Pakistan Visits Hyderabad Diocese
Hyderabad: On 12th November 2024 – Papal Nuncio to Pakistan, His Grace Germano Penemote paid a Pastoral visit to the Catholic Diocese of Hyderabad, accompanied by His Excellency Bishop Samson Shukardin. The Nuncio was warmly welcomed by the diocesan priests, sisters, and faithful at St. Francis Xavier Cathedral, Hyderabad.
The students of St. Bonaventure High School presented a colorful welcome program, complete with a band performance and a shower of flower petals. The Papal Nuncio was presented with traditional Sindhi gifts, including an Ajrak, a topi, and a bouquet of flowers.

On November 13, 2024, the Papal Nuncio celebrated the Eucharist at the Hyderabad Cathedral, along with Cardinal Joseph Coutts, Bishop Samson Shukardin, Fr. Sabir Sadique, and Fr. James Castelino.
In his homily, the Papal Nuncio expressed gratitude, promoted a message of peace and harmony, and imparted the Apostolic Blessing on behalf of Pope Francis.
After the Mass, the faithful presented the Papal Nuncio with traditional Sindhi gifts, expressing their love and affection. The visit of the Papal Nuncio was a significant event for the Catholic Diocese of Hyderabad, promoting unity, peace, and harmony among the faithful.
