Archbishop Joseph Arshad Confirms 180 Faithful in Peshawar

Peshawar: On Sunday, March 9, 2025, the St. John Mary Vianney Catholic Church, Peshawar (Kohati Gate), witnessed a joyous and faith-filled celebration as 180 faithful received the Sacrament of Confirmation. The momentous occasion was presided over by His Grace Archbishop Dr. Joseph Arshad, Bishop of Islamabad-Rawalpindi Diocese.

The sacred event was meticulously organized by Fr. Tariq Mehmood, Parish Priest of St. John Mary Vianney Catholic Church and the pastoral team of the parish. The celebration commenced with a warm welcome for His Grace Archbishop Joseph Arshad by the faithful, priests, religious sisters, and school principals at the Parish House and Church Gate.

During the Holy Mass, His Grace delivered a heartfelt homily, emphasizing the significance of the Sacrament of Confirmation. He then administered the sacrament to the candidates, strengthening them in their faith journey.
