Our Lady of Lourdes (Minor) Seminary of Rawalpindi Celebrates Feast of Our Lady of Lourdes

Rawalpindi: Our Lady of Lourdes (Minor) Seminary of Rawalpindi joyfully celebrated the Feast of Our Lady of Lourdes on February 11, 2025. The occasion was graced by the presence of His Excellency Archbishop Germano Penemote, Apostolic Nuncio to Pakistan, who presided over the Holy Mass.

Joining Archbishop Penemote were His Grace Archbishop Dr. Joseph Arshad, Fr. Asif John, Vicar General and Rector of the Seminary, and clergy from the Islamabad-Rawalpindi Circle. Sisters, teachers and students of the seminary also participated in the celebration.

The Holy Mass was followed by a vibrant program presented by the seminary students, which included a drama about the life of the Blessed Virgin Mary. The students showcased their talents and creativity, bringing joy and enthusiasm to the gathering.

Archbishop Dr. Joseph Arshad and Archbishop Penemote shared their thoughts and reflections on the significance of the Feast of Our Lady of Lourdes. They emphasized the importance of devotion to the Blessed Mother and her role in our spiritual lives.

Fr. Asif John expressed his heartfelt gratitude to all participants, especially the seminarians who worked tirelessly to organize the entire program. The celebration was a testament to the seminary’s commitment to fostering a deep devotion to the Blessed Mother and promoting the spiritual growth of its students.
