In his homily Bishop Samson said that, “Today, we gather to venerate the Blessed Virgin Mary, Mother of our Lord Jesus Christ. As we honor her, let us reflect on her profound role in our spiritual journey”.

Bishop Samson emphasized that Mary serves as an intermediary between believers and Her Son, perpetually praying for spiritual and physical healing. She intercedes for our well-being, seeking forgiveness and advocating for the acceptance of our prayers before the Lord. Through her recommendations, miracles occur in our lives. Thus, Mary is indeed a mediator of miracles for us.

He further added that ‘Her unwavering faith, unconditional love, and selfless devotion inspire us. May we seek her guidance, trust in her intercession, and emulate her virtues’.

The old Marian Grotto, built by Fr. Paulus Gill in 2009, has been replaced with a beautiful new structure, constructed under the guidance of Fr. Dildar Michael in 2024. This renewal symbolizes the enduring devotion to the Blessed Mother.

The second day of the pilgrimage, October 19, 2024, was featured Holy Mass presided over by Fr. Azeem Lawrence OFM, with Fr. Parvaiz Daniel OFM and Fr. Visha Haris OFM as concelebrants. Deacon Arsalan Amanat OFM will deliver the sermon.
