Youth Training & Development Initiatives Seminar in Gujranwala
On Friday, February 17, 2023, St. Joseph Catholic Church Gujranwala in collaboration with Caritas Pakistan Lahore arranged a Youth Training and Development Initiatives program with the slogan Preparing Young People for the Future.
The program was organized to promote and celebrate the pastoral year of the Archdiocese of Lahore which aims at the Education, Vocation, and Formation of the youth of the diocese.

The day began with the solemn Eucharistic celebration. presided over by His Grace Sebastian Francis Shaw, Archbishop of Lahore. With Rev. Fr. Francis Gulzar, Parish Priest St. Joseph Parish, other than the guest priests from other cities, were present all the priests of the district of Gujranwala.

In his homily, the Archbishop encouraged the youth to discover their uniqueness and vocation to grow not only in spiritual life. But also to make progress in our worldly affairs in truth and honesty. Harmony by Caritas Pakistan Lahore, Educationists, Rev. Fr. Noble Lal, Rector Don Bosco Institute, Lahore, CPL Team, and Rev. Fr. Francis Gulzar Parish Priest-St. Joseph Parish.
About 460 young men and women participated in the program and were guided on: Career Goals, Higher Studies, Skill Development, Online Earning, and Session on Peace & elopement Initiatives. In his concluding speech, Mr. Amjad Gulzar, National Director – of Caritas Pakistan, encouraged the youth to keep their head high and aim high to be successful people in life. In his vote of thanks Rev. Fr. Francis Gulzar Parish Priest – St. Joseph Parish, thanked and appreciated all the institutes.
